This report presents the findings of the Annual Social Audit conducted in the health institutions of Gurans Rural Municipality, Dailekh District, Karnali Province. The social audit was facilitated by Star Innovation and Research Centre Pvt. Ltd. with the objective of assessing the transparency, accountability, service delivery, public participation, and overall performance of the health institutions.
The social audit was carried out over the period from 10 Baishakh 2083 to 11 Asar 2083 B.S. (23 April 2026 to 25 June 2026). The assessment was conducted through a systematic review of relevant documents, field observations, consultations with stakeholders, community interactions, and public hearings where applicable. The findings and recommendations presented in this report are intended to support evidence-based decision-making, improve the quality of health services, and strengthen good governance within the health institutions of Gurans Rural Municipality.
